What does a SEND adviser do?
 

I specialise in providing independent and objective support, advice, and guidance to families and children dealing with a broad spectrum of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Here is a summary of the services I provide:

- Guide families through the process of securing Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP).


- Assist with understanding assessments and handling essential documentation.


- Provide assistance during SEND meetings, such as annual reviews and mediation sessions.


- Support parents with drafting appeal documents and navigating the appeals process.


- Help parents initiate EHCP assessments and work to improve outcomes in dispute situations.
